Judo,which means ‘gentle way’in japanese ,is aperfect example of how skilll can overcome brute force,becuse it teaches a person to use an oppnents use weights aganist them.so altough a woman may feel initimated by a taler male oppopnent,thorough the skillful application of throws and holds she can overpower him.it s easy to see why this support produces self confidence and is a great way of releasing tension.the support of judo was invented in japan 1882 to combat bullying in schools.after years of studying other material arts,Jigoro Kano founded a juDo academy in order to discover the most efficient way of deterring his playground enemies.initially,judo was not accepetd by other martial artsits,but in 1886,Tokyo s police force held a martial arts tournament and judo techniquies scored highly.recently judo has been the msot widely practised of the material arts outside china and japan
